▸Why do HS codes differ between countries?
The first 6 digits are international and set by the World Customs Organization. India adds 2 more digits in the Customs Tariff, so the 8-digit Indian code can differ from the supplier's Chinese, US or European code.
▸How accurate is the AI classification?
It gives an expert-level suggestion with the reasoning and a confidence level so you can check it. For certainty on a high-value or disputed product, confirm with your customs broker or apply for an Advance Ruling (CAAR).
